Kings Ridge Home Owners Association

A new “FirstService Residential” mobile app headlines a series of technology enhancements that will help Kings Ridge neighbors receive improved homeowner association customer service.

Effective immediately, neighbors can download the free app for Apple and Android devices in the app and play store.

The features and functionality of the FSR Connect Associate app will mirror services offered for laptop and desktop users when visiting the password-protected FSR Connect section of the Kings Ridge HOA website at https://kingsridgehoa.connectresident.com.

Better Handling of Issues
FSR Connect, in conjunction with a new ticketing system, will help better track homeowner interaction with FSR. It also addresses input from neighbors to have HOA issues be logged, prioritized, managed and resolved better.

“We’re listening to the community and we’ve heard the need to improve communications between neighbors, the HOA Board and our property management company,” said the five-member Kings Ridge HOA Board.

“One major complaint we’ve heard surrounds managing issues and questions raised by a homeowner to FSR and the Board. We conducted a thorough analysis on how to improve communications, improve tracking issues reported, prioritization of issues, and best methods to assure issues are closed appropriately, and in a cost effective manner. We’re pleased to invite neighbors to start using FSR Connect for community-wide questions and issues management,” the HOA Board added.

Account Activation
With the system upgrade, FSR property manager Crystal Horner will be able to help resolve neighbor issues faster and more efficiently based upon a digital dashboard that will record issues based on their level of severity. Likewise, the HOA Board will be able to use the centralized management and reporting tools to more clearly see the issues recorded, and how their resolution is being addressed by FSR.

In order to report issues within the password-protected section of the HOA website at https://kingsridgehoa.connectresident.com in the Service Requests section, an initial activation is required. Neighbors who previously used the earlier version of FSR Connect will likely need to re-activate their account by reregistering via the FSR toll-free number, 877-378-2388, or online.

First-time users can activate your FSR Connect account by calling FSR at the toll-free number, or register online. Each homeowner will select a customized password. No personal data such as phone numbers, emails and automobile information entered on the site will be supplied to third parties.

Prior to activating your FSR Connect account, neighbors can still submit issues needing FSR attention by using the existing FSR Contact Kings Ridge HOA section on the public facing Kings Ridge website, https://kingsridgehoa.net/contact. On September 1, clicking on https://kingsridgehoa.net/contact will automatically take neighbors to https://kingsridgehoa.connectresident.com in order to report service issues.

Growing Even Stronger
Neighbors can continue to see news and photos about Kings Ridge, submit exterior home enhancement requests to the Architectural Control Committee and read the neighborhood’s governing documents in the public facing section of the Kings Ridge HOA website.

“The new FSR Connect technology will significantly improve the way we all can communicate with one another throughout Kings Ridge,” said HOA Board president Steve Jacobson.

“We earned the highest award presented to neighborhoods by the City of Plano in 2016 in the BEST Neighborhoods program, and we’re never going to rest on our past accomplishments,” said Steve. “Our goal is to be the premier neighborhood to live, work, learn in play in the entire city and we’re taking the right steps to make Kings Ridge even more desirable.”
