On behalf of your Kings Ridge Board of Directors, I want to provide a brief update to the Kings Ridge community on some of the activities that have been happening throughout your community this summer.

  1. Our trees have been in need of trimming for quite sometime. Work began earlier this year and we are looking into a multi-year agreement with an arborist to continue addressing our trees.
  2. Due to sidewalk flooding at the south pond, French drains have been installed. We expect to see great improvements at the next rain storm.
  3. Storm drains within the Luxborough greenbelt were in desperate need of cleaning out to prevent flooding. This is now in progress.
  4. The retaining wall at Cannon Falls has been repaired.
  5. HOA perimeter walls have been surveyed and a plan is being put into place to repair those wall panels and pillars needing attention.
  6. The pergola at the south pond has been refreshed with a new coat of stain and looks great. The four towers have been painted and lighting has been fixed. We are addressing other electrical issues at several entrances.
  7. In an effort to enhance the plant beds at each entrance, we are establishing a baseline in the plant beds with lantana and purple heart.
  8. Many, many repairs have been made to our aging irrigation system throughout the community. Controllers, sprinkler heads, drip irrigation, underground water line breakage are constantly needing repair or replacement.
  9. The pump in the North Pond has been fixed and is back on-line.

As you can imagine, the team cannot spot every issue that may surface throughout the community. If you see anything that is not right, e.g. leaking irrigation, trees needing trimming, etc., please contact our management company, Real Manage, to report the issue so the team can make the necessary fixes.

We all have the same goal, an attractive neighborhood that meets and exceeds the standard of a twice earned Platinum status with the City of Plano.

Thank you for allowing us to serve you. We are striving to make Kings Ridge one of the best neighborhoods in North Texas.

All the best,

Paul Nolte,

President, of Your Kings Ridge HOA Board of Directors
