All neighbors are invited to participate in this year’s Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner this fall.
When is it?
Saturday, October 12th at 6pm
What is it?
A causal evening of fun conversation over dinner to meet new neighbors and visit with old friends.
How to participate?
You may choose to be a host home or a dinner guest. Hosts provide the ambience, beverages, and appetizers for 6-8 guests. Guests will be assigned either the salad, side dish, main course or dessert apx. one week prior to the event, along with their host home address. On the day of the dinner party, guests will bring their assigned platter to their host home at 6 p.m. All attendees will later meet at the Dessert Home from 8-10 p.m. for further mingling and the opportunity to meet even more neighbors! If you are assigned a dessert, instructions will be provided as to where to take your dessert on the day of the event.
When to RSVP by?
If you would like to host or be the Dessert Home, please RSVP immediately. Guests, please RSVP by October 1st. Due to the necessary planning involved, we will not be able to accept tardy RSVPs. Signup will be available at National Night Out on Oct. 1st.
Please send an email to the following address: [email protected] and include your name, significant other’s name, your home address, host or guest preference, and the contact information you would like shared with fellow attendees at your Host Home (phone or email).
What change is occurring this year?
Based upon feedback from prior years, some neighbors have expressed the desire to coordinate a menu. This decision will be left to the Hosts as to whether or not they would like to communicate with their Guests prior to the day of the event. Some prefer the surprise element while others want to be planful. Hosts will communicate with Guests by October 6th if a formal menu plan is desired. Otherwise, the evening will be a complete surprise!
