We offer a very special thank you to this year’s National Night Out sponsors:

  • Creative Minds Montessori (Legacy & Warren Pkwy. in Frisco),
  • Primrose School of Plano at Headquarters (Headquarters & Spring Creek Pkwy.),
  • Sangria y Cerveza – Tacos y Tapas Lounge (Windhaven & Communications across from Parr Library),
  • Marco’s Pizza (Midway across from Prestonwood Baptist Church) and
  • Barking Paws Bath Co.

Please visit each of them as you attend tonight’s 21st annual National Night Out celebration in Kings Ridge.

Here’s the Oct. 1 Agenda:

  • 6:35 p.m. – 6913 Crystal Falls – Neighbor and pet parade along Kings Manor (look for the hundreds of U.S. flags!) with decorated entries and dogs on leashes begins at the intersection of Crystal Falls and Kings Manor. It’s a short walk that travels north on Kings Manor and right on Cannon Falls to the HOA greenbelt park). The parade will include a Plano Fire engine, Plano Police, city officials and the Hebron High School drum line and neighbors with their pets. Prizes will be awarded to best decorated, funniest, most creative and most spirited entries!
  • 6:30 to 9 p.m. park nearest 6917 Traceland – NNO celebration with free pizza and individually wrapped tacos, water, lemonade and adult beverages, DJ, music, face painting, bounce houses, prizes for best decorated parade entries. Outdoor, overhead lighting is in place to illuminate the greenbelt, allowing neighbors to interact past dark.
  • 7 p.m. park nearest 6917 Traceland – We anticipate several very special guests who will share remarks about the importance of community engagement and safety. VIP guests expected include the Mayor of Plano, Plano Police Chief, Plano Fire Chief and the head of the Plano Police Crime Prevention unit. Several Plano city councilmembers are also expected to attend in order to meet Kings Ridge neighbors.
