All neighbors, 21 years of age and older, are invited to participate in one of the most enjoyable social events that has taken place over the years in Kings Ridge.
On Saturday, May 16, starting at 6 p.m. neighbors who RSVP to social committee chair Elizabeth Ashby at KRsocial75024@gmail.com, will meet at the first of several host homes. At each host home, the owners will be provided with a stipend to purchase wine to serve to neighbors.
After about 45 minutes to one hour at each host home, neighbors will carry on their conversations and sip ‘n stroll to the next host home. If it rains, be adventorous and take an umbrella and comfy shoes!
Some of the host homes over the years have supplied light bites to eat with the array of wines and champagne.
If you’re not necessarily interested in hosting neighbors in your home, feel free to bring a bottle or two of wine or champagne to contribute to the night’s beverages to sip n’ stroll.
The evening generally wraps up between 10 and 11 p.m. and the great thing about the evening is that you not only get in exercise, but you get to rekindle friendships with neighbors you have not seen in a while and you get to meet new neighbors to share life with in our wonderful neighborhood.
If you can serve as a host home, please contact Elizabeth so she can arranage the path that neighbors will walk on May 16th. The important thing about being a host home is to register to do so by Friday, May 1. Those who wish to just sip ‘n stroll should also RSVP so that you receive a special map of the addresses participating in the fun, whimsical and safe social event with neighbors.
