Kings Ridge Home Owners Association

All neighbors are encouraged to take an active role in electing three new HOA board members during the annual meeting on April 9. An official proxy listing all known candidates will soon be provided by FirstService Residential to all neighbors to review in advance of the annual meeting.

Due to an occupied Parr Library (our normal HOA meeting location), this year’s annual meeting will take place at Haggard Library, 2501 Coit Road in Plano. The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. and sign-in will begin at 6 p.m.

The chief purpose of the meeting will be to elect three new board positions for two-year terms, review the association’s financials, provide community updates, and to allow homeowners the opportunity to ask questions of the current HOA board, committee chairs and FSR officials.

It is very important that neighbors attend this meeting or submit an official proxy in order for the association to establish a quorum which is 10% or 58 homes represented in person or by proxy.

If you are unable to attend, please provide your official proxy once received to FSR by their established deadline, or provide it to a neighbor who will be attending the annual meeting.

Please take time to read the instructions carefully on the proxy, fill it out, sign and return the proxy to FirstService Residential (FSR). You may also deliver your proxy to another homeowner in the community to be turned in at the meeting. If quorum is not met, the association will be unable to hold the board of director election, so it is important that you submit your proxy.

During the meeting, candidates can also submit their name from the floor to be considered for the HOA board and all candidates will have an opportunity to speak briefly to the membership at the meeting.

Immediately following the annual meeting, the board of directors will convene briefly to elect officer positions, as they are to be elected annually by the board of directors. The HOA board also reserves the right to elect these positions prior to the following meeting of the HOA board meeting in May.
